  1. Good luck with everything! I’ve heard good things about the program at OSU!
  2. Hey! Another Buckeye in the house!!! I live near Cincinnati and will have my ESG done 9/25 at Journey Lite. Very excited! Kind of odd how I came to decide on WLS....never thought about it as BMI is 31 so thought I would t qualify. Then I heard about esg and balloon procedures. Once I looked into it I scheduled a consult the next day. Hoping it’s the right decision, because it feels right! Love the support here
  3. Thanks for the advice! I have also considered the balloon and have similar concerns. Once it’s removed I lose the restriction and am afraid I’ll gontoght back to where I was! Lol! Knowing me, I think I may need the weight loss tool permanently there!
  4. I’m going for my consultation this Tuesday (7/10). I’m 5’8” and 204lbs. That puts me just within the BMI range for this procedure. I keep wondering if I should do this or not. Kind of like I don’t weigh enough to justify esg and the high cost. But I really feel that it would help me so much with some medical problems...plantar fasciitis, BP, some reflux and just overall sluggish, tired and achy body! Im 53 and don’t like feeling old and worn out with this weight on me! Lol! What do you think? I’ve done the yo yo diet thing and don’t want to go thru that again. Plus walking and some of the exercise I do enjoy are pretty painful right now due to plantar fasciitis.
