  1. Hey ? how is everyone doing that had surgery in July I’ll be 3 months post op October 18th I’m down 30 pounds from my heights weight 287 I’ve been between 258 -260 for about a week now...I don’t know about any one else but I still have some cravings and hunger...my sleeve is still pretty tight and I honestly never ate to be full before surgery and it’s the same now I literally take 2 or 3 bites off everything and that’s it’s...i can get through about a liter of water a day hoping to be back to gallon within a year...I’m still doing one protein shake a day I really should do 2 but I sometimes think I’m lactose now my stomach I kinda sensitive to dairy products...I’m still struggling with gym I’m still shy to work out in front of other people and I still don’t have confidence...some days are better than most especially having depression..I knew the surgery wouldn’t cure depression so I still go to therapy once a month..I still haven’t been transparent with my friends and family about having vsg and I don’t even think i need to I went through this entire process by myself and I just can’t handle the negatively..
  2. I don’t see how it’s possible unless your drinking water all day...I use to drink a gallon of water a but now I can only get through 4 to 5 bottles and I drink most of my protein as well I go to bathroom every 30 minutes and at night
  3. Do you think this is really zero cards?
  4. I didn’t know that I thought that it was going to be impossible unless your eating poorly..going to they gym or even getting out the house is a struggle for me..I was hoping that the weight loss was going to cure my depression but it hasn’t ? I’m glad I lost 25 pounds but I’m always lonely and it’s impossible to binge eat..I was so motivated but afterwards but now I’m kinda sad again
  5. No there 16 oz and no that’s wasn’t advise by my nutritionist I just came up with myself I figured I would lose more weight that way.. I have a appointment at the end of the month I will be following up with them then I honestly think I’m not eating enough my liquids and protein shakes go down fine... how many calories are we supposed to eating a day anyways?
  6. I try not to eat more than 1000 calories a day and I drink about 4 to 5 bottles a day of water... I was walking about 30 minutes a day but these past 2 weeks my energy has changed I’ve been sleeping from 330 to 10 pm after work I’m exhausted I wasn’t this tired after surgery I don’t know what changed
  7. I’m will be 2 months post op next week on the 18th so I’m only down 25 pounds but the scale doesn’t seem to be moving. It’s like I gain a pound lose a pound is any one else experiencing that? Also some time I feel like I’m not eating enough and I read that can also slow the process down...I usually measure my food now but I’m hungry 2 to 3 hours later and to skip a meal is not as easy as it was before the hungry pains are different it’s like I have to eat when I’m hungry because it’s uncomfortable ? any support would be appreciated
  8. I wonder why that happens? I’m glad I work from home because i have to go 15 or 20 minutes after I drink anything
  9. I will be 2 months post op next week and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing frequent urination? It like anything I drink goes right through me...I still haven’t had any complications but this is actually annoying even at night I get up to pee i can’t even hold it if I wanted to..if I have to go I have to go lol
  10. I still have a long way to go but I’m so much happier and healthier now
  11. I know I haven’t posted in awhile but I’ve been so busy I’m a month and a few weeks post op my surgery was July 18th I weighed 287 that morning Im 264 as of today no complications or diarrhea...everything went as planned I was even able to pass my swallowing test with out throwing up...I did have some nausea when switching to soft and solid food but nothing major and I’ve thrown up 1 time I tried to eat spam and my pouch didn’t like it lol but I’ve learned my full feelings and I pretty much get the hiccups when I full now and I always eat my protein first to fill up fast I usually eat every 2 to 3 hours and I drink about 4 to 5 bottles of what a day I will say I’ve tried to eat takeout and it’s not the same I get full way to fast and gassy and it’s hurts anything that’s processed doesn’t go down as easy and takes forever to digest so take out food is a big no right and cards usually get stuck and take forever to go down to as well but I know that’s going to change over the next few months i just started working out a few days ago trying to get back into a routine I’m happy with my overall decision and glad I did this for myself I’m hoping to get down to 220 by the end of the year

  17. @Taelael I’m hoping to not go any lower than 180-185..I carry my weight in my boobs and butt I do have a stomach but it doesn’t hang and I haven’t had any children yet my doctor said I shouldn’t have that much skin to be concerned about but I’m saving now for a breast lift and tummy tuck next year just in case
  18. @MissSimpson thanks great I was hoping to lose 45 between now and December...my friend never met her weightloss goal she went from 240 to 180 and that was it but she want disclose how she stopped it she a curvy to but I hoping to lose some butt and boobies but not to much
  19. Has anybody else been concerned about losing to much weight? I’m 6 days post op and I’m down 13 pounds so far and I’m already off my blood pressure medicine and haven’t had to use my nebulizer..of course I choose the procedure mostly because my healthy was failing but the pass few days I’ve been thinking about losing to much weight..I was hoping to lose 80 pounds that’s it hoping to get down to 200 and keep some of my curves...I never wanted to be skinny but I can’t stop thinking about it especially after today the guy told me I have no control over how much weight I lose...how do you maintain your weight once you meet your goal?
  20. @Sosewsue61does has the bone broth ever given you a sore throat or is it just me? Honestly I don’t like and I’ll be doing some online shopping for some online for Protein shouts and other things

So I just stick to liquids for a few more days or follow the book?
  22. It’s mind of matter love and I know it’s hard I’m only a few days post op and I feel like I should not be able to drink this much water and goes down fine...Just eat was on your plate don’t eat to get full and try and drink lots of fluid between meals that always gives me that full feeling
