  3. I actually had my surgery done at LIMARP with Dr. Liza Pompa
  4. Yup that's it! ?? Her jello was very tart without sugar as you can imagine but my body tolerates it unlike the kind we bought at the store But I'm hoping that I can tolerate store bought once my glutamine powder comes in
  5. Ah okay gotcha. It's both sugar free and no sugar added. It's Mexican and she makes it from dried hibiscus flower. She just boils the water then adds the flowers until it reaches a deep purple color
  6. Oh no! The Knox gelatin? the stevia was on my list of approved "sugar"
  7. My mom makes it with a box of Knox Gelatin. Stevia, and unsweetened juice for flavor

  10. Yes just double checked and it is sugar free
  11. I think it's some kind of ingredient or perhaps the thickness that isn't going down well. I can only take 2-3 half spoonful before stopping completely. My mom made homemade jello for me and I didn't have a problem so I'm going to ask her to make more lol. I just never felt that way even when I had to eat it for pre-op
  12. Week 1 today! Jello has been an issue for me. Wondering if anyone else has had a problem with it. I don't know if i'm just not letting it dissolve enough or what exactly is going on. It gives my chest/heart area a weird feeling

  14. Oh AshAsh! Praying for you right now. Keep us posted
  15. @AshAsh12 So sorry you had to go through that!!! I'm glad you're home now and doing better! I had a little bit of nausea after I would do my breathing exercises. My Husband told me I was going too hard and needed to slow down when doing those exercises. I threw up blood from it twice! I thought I was going to send myself back into the OR I was like you and couldn't wait to drink water! I finally was given ice chips the day after surgery and was given a plastic container to spit the water out when the ice was all melted. I fly home tomorrow and cannot wait to be in my home and in my own bed! Cheers to us for making it this far already

  17. Congrats on your surgery yesterday! Mine was yesterday too! It sounds like we both lucked out! And here’s to an even easier recovery!! I think I'm going to start a new thread
  18. Yes I am better today and yesterday wasn't even that bad really. I haven't had the gas pains that most people have. I'm really not sure why because that was my biggest fear. I was able to shower today. I just feel really hungry and I think that's what I keep feeling. I wasn't allowed to eat yesterday or today
