  1. About the whole drinking while eating, it just depends on the person, like me I cant do it not because it pushes my food down or anything like the doctor sais but because if i drink while i eat it wont go down like ill have to spit it back up, so i save my self the embarasement and just dont drink untill after i eat probably 20 min after or so. And about drinking alcohol I drank wine 2 weeks after my surgery and i felt no diffrence. Im young so I go clubbing alot and drink alot as well and I have not seen any diffrence and my doctor sais its not a problem. So have fun and dont worrk about the band getting in your way of drinking because it dosnt hurt it =]
  2. sorry to hear that =[ But yeah what you eat is very important, also drink lots and lots of water that helps, another thing that makes a big diffrence is if you go to the bathroom alot, not to be nasty, but it makes a huge diffrence.
  3. Congratz on desiding to get this surgery, its realy the best thing ever. But after my surgery like a couple of days after I did start getting hungry and felt like I had never been banded b/c I felt no change. But the good thing was I had a vacation planed like 3 weekes after surgery were I would be gone a month so my doctor let me get my first fill 2 weeks after surgery and thats when i felt the big change. I love it I paid out of pocket and it was worth every penny, Im already half way to my goal and it hasnt even been 3 months since i got banded.
