July 25th! Its so far! Wish it was closer

HEY YALL so I got a a date. my surgery will be on July 25... its a longggg ways ahead but it was all in God's timing!

I'd have to have someone stand on the roof to get my head at an angle that didn't show my double-chin! Honestly, from your avatar, I wouldn't guess you weighed more than 130! Haha! Right! But no, I don't have a big double chin! Lol maybe just a bit of skin but normally I can hide it well!

Thank you for the advice, still no word yet so hopefully hear something tuesday/thursday since monday is a holiday! But no my BMI is not more than 55 LOL!

Yay!! Approval buddies! Omg hopefully mine is close! Or that day also!! My "last" pre-op is May 31! Im suppose to start the liquid diet then! Hopefully I hear something back tomorrow !

Just got approved may 17! They say end of june! But hopefully something closer pops up! I still haven't gotten a date and its making me anxious

Wowwww I wishh well actually.. so I do attend church, im actually a sunday school teacher and I went to a wedding and talked to an old friend whose 18 and im 20 so we just talked but funny thing is I always said hi and we always hugged before but never really talked so on that wedding night we took a few pictures and talked and all of a sudden now we talk everyday and I would have never expected it .. still to early to see the future but ehh who knows!

I have everyday! They just keep saying that "there's still waiting on finding a day to schedule" or that they don't have a date locked in :(

Hey ya'll so I got approved for surgery May 17th (Thursday) and i'm still waiting on a surgery date? I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN WAITING for ever!! How long did it take for you to get a surgery date after approval?? Why does it take so long?

I'm nervous but super excited and wish I was going in tomorrow!! lol Yess!! Me tooo!! I wish it was like tomorrow or at least I knew the day!!! Its agony

Yes!!! If I want to try a flavor I go to walmart because they have the 4 packs, but since I know that I like the strawberries and bananas and caramel, I go to sams club! They have a bigger 12-ish pack! (:

Hi sammi! I use the premier shakes! I love the caramel and the bananas and cream! Also just tried the strawberries and creme and it was just as good! I do not like the the vanilla one, and can't have the chocolate one! But you should give those a go! Its 30g of protein and 1g sugar 5g carbs and low fat! I'll be on my liquid diet soon! So I have gotten prepared! Good luck!

I am going from a gastric sleeve to gastric bypass! Just got approved thursday! Original date was june 4th (my birthday) but they think they might wait till after.. my last pre op appointment is the 5/31 and its to start my liquid diet I AM SOO READY AND CAN'T WAIT.. idk what to do to keep me busy!

Am I the only one who thinks finding a great christian guy in Columbus Ohio is hard.. I hope it gets a bit easier after surgery this summer 2018 ?

I got submitted and approved yesterday! We were looking to do surgery june 4th (my birthday) but when I called they said it's probably not gonna happen then but that I start my pre op diet on the 31 which is my next appointment... so WOOHOO Hopefully sometime around june 16-18ish
