  1. I was banded last week and I have the same pain, kind of a dull ache right below my left breast. Sometimes the pain will fade during the day if I take a walk or move around a little. I had a hernia that was repaired during my lap band surgery - I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
  2. This is great because I've been thinking there are tons of things I won't miss about being obese. Boyfriend skinnier than I am - won't miss feeling like I'm going to crush him. Thighs rubbing together. Walking pass building downtown and seeing how huge I am. Taking pictures and saying Lord I'm huge - please delete that. Playing with my dogs and not running out of breath. Not wanting to leave the house. Not being able to wear shorts. Not being able to tan all parts because the rolls won't lay flat on the tanning bed. Sore legs and back.
  3. Hi everyone. My name is Tracy Woods and I live in Houston, TX. I've been divorced for 12 years and have two children, 17 and 15. I decided in December that I would like to have the lap band procedure. My surgery was April 7, 2008. It has now been one week. I had the surgery performed at 12 Oaks Hospital and my doctors name is Dr. Hollis. Talk to ya'll soon.
