Weird painful tingles in throat
My doctor said it's a weird form of acid reflux. I am taking Omeprazole currently as needed. It is now only happening occasionally.

Butter for Cooking
So I was told that natural butter was better to use than say....margarine. And I haven't had any issues so far. But I read to avoid it. Though I thought butter, real butter, was better to grease a pan for say, eggs, rather than processed stuff like in margarine. Thoughts?

Takis/Spicy Food
Of course! I don't think I could even do more than a couple anyways. But a treat would be nice once in a while! If my stomach says no, at least I tried and then I will know to avoid it!

Skinny Girl Products
Has anyone tried the Skinny Girl products? Besides the name choice, I love them. I love the raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing and the sea salt and lime popcorn! Anyone try them, or have suggestions for other things I haven't tried yet?

Either Splenda or the unsweetened tea I got from Dunkin made me sick. After added Splenda. I will look for those. Thank you!

Sweet Drinks?
Hey! As much as I love water, it gets boring. What are some sweeter beverages that are good for you after VSG? I can't seem to handle tea due to needing to add sugar, and I am not sure if juice of any kind is allowed. Have you guys had success with anything? For parties and such?

6 weeks post op- Sashimi Sushi?
Had some last night! It was sooo good. No issues. I had 4 slices of shrimp sashimi and 4 slices of salmon nigiri with my gluten free low sodium soy sauce! Took about 1.5-2 hours to finish it but I did it! No pain at all just might have had a TIIIINY bit too much on the first day trying it post-op. Felt awesome having it again. Thanks again guys!

6 weeks post op- Sashimi Sushi?
Thank you guys so much!! If I do have regular sushi at some point with rice, should I always avoid white rice and get brown instead? I read in some other threads that white rice has given multiple people a lot of trouble.
