17 days post op from Rny. All seems good except the feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen. I had my first post op appt and lost 9 lbs and the doctor was more than pleased. She said it's only two weeks out and there is still swelling etc but all is looking great. Having a little problem getting enough protein. Started stage 3 diet and it felt a little heavy so stepping back to cream of wheat and protein pudding. Time will heal all and I just have to be patient.

Same here already took two laps at 5 am and sitting in the chair. Still a little gas but not nearly as bad. Woke up with a nasty headache probably from yesterday's drugs. Rny 6/4/2018

Had my rny today about 9 hrs ago and got up and walked about 8:30 and then again a few minutes ago I did two laps. Sitting up and or walking feels much better then laying in bed. Helps get rid of the gas pain which is what really is the discomfort.

Wow just had a regular doc apt and lost 5 more lbs! I don't have surgery until June 4th. Makes me feel good when I can still loose a little on my own. Makes me feel the RnY is just another tool to help.

It's getting REAL! received approval letter from insurance company for June 4th RnY at Dartmouth! Everything is done except surgery.

Have June surgery date 4th of June! Scared and excited very emotional. 59 yrs old, single and happy.

Monday May 7th I go for pre op class. Taking it early and maybe slide into a cancellation spot. Nervous as time gets closer. Do you have to have someone stay with you after surgery the first week or so?

I have a surgery date for June 4th at Dartmouth Hitchcock. They seem to have a great program . Who was your doc?

Anyone close to Vermont? Clothes swaps ? [emoji16]
