  1. I was sleeved on Feb 15th, so 13 weeks ago. The first 42 lbs flew off me! But I seem to have stopped losing weight. I’ve been hovering between 244-239 lbs for the past two weeks. I’m scared my body has got used to tiny portions and has stopped reacting with weight loss. I keep weighing every day because I’m so obsessed with seeing the numbers go down, which doesn’t seem to be happening! I’ve still got a lot to lose! Did anyone stall around 3 months? How did it stop? Any diet tips? Is exercise super important? Any help appreciated!

  3. I was sleeved 8 weeks ago and I have chosen to keep my surgery a secret. Only a couple of immediate family members know, and they’re very trustworthy. I have chosen this because I live in a small town where people gossip and I don’t want to be the subject of gossip. I’m also naturally a very private person and always found my weight to be a very personal topic that I didn’t enjoy discussing. So far it’s been fine, but from forums, I feel most everyone is public about theirs. Is there anyone else who kept theirs private? How has that been for you? Any regrets about staying private? Thanks!

  6. I am 8 weeks out of gastric sleeve surgery and have lost a great amount of weight, I’m happy with my progress. I just can’t believe how small my portions are. I knew of course they’d be small, but I can literally manage two bites before I feel really full. How long will it be until I can actually eat a fairly normal portion size and not look rude at meals? I don’t mean to sound stupid or ungrateful for my surgery, but once I hit my goal weight, I would like to be able to enjoy eating out and family meals like a “normal” person. At the moment, eating is not a good experience and I don’t like the feeling whilst eating or immediately after. Can anyone share their story with portion size?
