  1. The woman who only took in 800 calories may or may not be being honest. Theres a really well done old documentary about a man who was monitored in a hospital for about 4 months who wasnt allowed to eat anything, period, and even he went through unexpected periods of plateau. Im a pretty firm believer that people generally underestimate their calories though.
  2. I'm about 3 weeks out now. I didnt have it initially but then again I was on a liquid diet then so.
  3. I'm having a huge issue with air in my stomach after I eat. Consistently. Every meal. It's extremely painful. I know I'm not overeating. I struggle having the motivation to eat at all, in general, and every time after I DO eat I spend an hour struggling to burp up all the air I can hear rumbling around inside of me. Is this an issue that anyone else has had? What did you do for it? I'm kind of desperate. Eating is tough enough already, and between this and my acid reflux it makes me not want to eat at all.
  4. Eating feels like a chore to me too. I'm about 3 weeks out from my gastric sleeve surgery. I've progressed to full foods, but I have almost no desire to eat. If i'm not sticking with liquids I HATE the painful/uncomfortable way food sits in my stomach--and no, i'm definitely not overeating. Also, I get really intense acid reflux the few times I do eat, EVERY TIME. I practically live on TUMS. I'm actually a little afraid of what weight I'm going to end up at if this continues indefinitely. I think I logged 350 cals yesterday.

  6. Have you tried vitamin gummies for adults? I cannot stand the chalky texture of most chewables but gummies work for me! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Kiiiinda gross I know but Im sitting here realizing my surgery was 5 days ago and I havent had a bowel movement yet. I took some laxatives in preparation for the struggle about 2 days before my surgery so I know I was pretty clear to begin with, but when should I anticipate one and when should I start worrying? Thanks! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
