  2. I am just starting my journey. I have my sleep study in 2weeks and my surgeon appointment after that. My best friend and I are extremely close...I can’t imagine my life without her. We are currently about the same size (5’8”, 300#) and are mistaken for sisters all the time. I am concerned that having this surgery may negatively effect our relationship. I don’t know how it could, and she is extremely supportive. She is not interested in surgery at this point in her life and I support her with her decision. Has anyone else had a relationship change with a best friend just because you have lost weight.
  3. My home sleep study is scheduled for April 8th. Just had my first visit with the nutritionist Thursday and am not starting my journey.
