  2. Hi, y'all. This is my first time here. I had severe constipation. I wound up taking Fleet suppositories which finally helped (after taking oral stool softeners, drinking lots of liquids, eating healthy fats). This lasted days and was blindingly painful. I thought I might have to go to the hospital. Has anyone experienced this? I am 160 days post RYN surgery and this is the first time I've had a problematic bowel movement. Pre-surgery, I always had diarrhea, so this was very foreign territory. I seek to learn of medical and non-medical remedies and coping mechanisms. Thank you, Cindi
