  1. I’m having my lapband to sleeve revision surgery on 4/27!!! I am SO excited!!!! We will def have to keep in touch because our dates are so close!!
  2. I’m a revision as well - April 27! Did you get your revision/sleeve in one sitting? That is what my doc plans to do (which I’m happy about because I don’t want to have TWO surgeries!). I HATE my band! So how is the sleeve? A gazillion times better? About the same but without sliming? I seriously can’t wait to get this thing out of my body!
  3. Awesome! Mine is at the end of next month! Posts like this make me happy! Glad things went well!!!
  4. I just joined and am SO happy to have this forum!! I will get sleeved on 4/27! Can NOT wait! CW: 195 (5’5) and goal weight is 130(ish).... hopefully! I haven’t been that weight since my 20s!! (41 now!)
  5. I’m also going to Tijuana (Jerusalem Hospital) - my date is April 27! I will tell people I’m doing the Keto diet (which I honestly will do once I’m healed and can eat)... my close friends will know the 100% truth and the others will be on a need to know basis! Keto really works so I wouldn’t feel bad with my white lie!
  6. That is what I’m currently doing! Don’t waste your time on the band! I have one and will be sleeved April 27!
  7. I fasted in the evenings... my “eating window” was from 10 AM to 6 PM, but you can move the window hours to make them work for you! Just give yourself an 8 hour window in which to eat! It’s tough at first, but gets easier! The hardest part for me was planning for weekends when we’d go out to eat, etc... but you could start with just a 10 or 12 hour window and revise from there ?!?
  8. Awesome! Keep us updated!! Mine is end of April and I’m nervous!!
  9. I’m about to do the same thing! Removal and sleeve during same surgery! Phew! Glad to see it’s not terrible! Did you have better results with sleeve?
  10. I’m set for the sleeve surgery (Mexico, BMI is about 32) on April 27th! I also got banded in Mexico about 7 or 8 years ago. The band is okay... I have lost and maintained about 30 pounds, but I would like to lose more. I am at 195 and my goal is 130(ish)...I have ALWAYS yo-yo’ed and am ready for it to stop (41 years of it is enough!) Please share any experience with band to sleeve! Thank you!!
  11. April 27surgery date! SO pumped!!
