  1. Thanks for the information. I will continue to stay on course for the next few days and look forward to my new journey.
  2. This is my pre op liquid diet: Premiere protein shakes, sugar free jello/pudding, soup and lots of water. Surgery is Wednesday.
  3. Thank you so much for the encouragement. Everything you said makes better sense now that I think about it. I was stressing because I was disappointed because of all my efforts to stay focused during this two week liquid diet. I will gladly take my 4.5 pound weight loss as a success [emoji4]
  4. All I'm drinking is Protein and water. Each shake is 30 grams and I have two each day and then soup for dinner.
  5. Im on day 8... you will do just fine!
  6. I'm on day 8 of my pre op liquid diet and have followed it correctly. I've only lost 4.5 pounds. I've read where people lose 15-20 pounds. Should I be concerned?
  7. Hospital gown (with no bra). I was completely out and when I woke up, I felt fine. No nausea, soreness, etc. You will be just fine.
  8. I'm on Day 8 of pre op and I've not been hungry...it's been all mental for me. I keep telling myself that the outcome will be much better than messing up on my pre op. We can all get through this together by supporting each other. Let's do this!!!!!
  9. Hey surgery twin. Mine is April 25 at 8:00 am. I'm taking loose clothing, slippers, toiletries and Bioten. Everyone says you have dry mouth afterwards. I'm one week into my pre op liquids and so far, I haven't been hungry. Its all mental...we can do this! [emoji6]
  10. Well I don't want to drink anything that induces vomit [emoji44][emoji40]
  11. Which Powerade Zero tastes the best?
  12. I was told the reason why they strap your arms is because when you wake up and possibly still have the tube, they don't want you to try to remove it. The nurse has already informed me of this, so it won't shock me.
  13. This journey has been an eye opener for me. It taught me how much I used food as a crutch. Anything going on, I ate! I'm so happy I'm learning to refocus my emotions when something is happening.
  14. Surprisingly I'm doing great too! Two shakes per day and soup at night have kept me sustained. Even taking my grand daughter to McDonalds yesterday was tough, i took my shake with me! I'm allowed yogurt so that was my treat. In four days, I was down six pounds so that made me smile.
  15. back right side of picture...its there! Thanks ?
  16. Thanks. I was thinking of ordering from Walmart. You're awesome!
  17. I swear by Premier protein shakes. The day before im supposed to have clear protein only and can't find any.
  18. I'm anxious. Trying to find some clear Protein and trying to get some other things completed. It seems like this time has flown by and now its upon me. A friend of mine gave me a wonderful care package...she had surgery last year. She has been my biggest cheerleader. I pray everything works out for us. Give me a minute and I'll post a picture of my care package. She really thought of everything!
  19. Sorry about the spelling...phone is a mess
  20. Hellosurery twin! Im doing the sleeve and about to end day 5 of liquids! I made it through half of the weekend. Ate you nervous, anxious, excited...??
  21. Mine is one week after yours. I'm excited also
