  3. You are lucky you can get back to work part time and two weeks later. I was only able to get a week at work. I have to be back on Monday full time. I’m dreading it because I also seem to be napping at least an hour during the day.

  5. True, i don’t understand why some people have longer liquid diets. I have to be on a 2.5 week liquid diet post op. I feel that’s too long. Why are people having 1 week post op follow up with their doctors and I have a almost 3 week appt. Idk. It’s so hard... I’m getting annoyed... 4 days post op today.
  6. I only had the caramel premier. Didn’t like anything else.
  7. I had the same issue until I tried premier protein. That’s the only one that I can bare
  8. Which brand of protein did you buy? You can also do the protein water.
  9. I did ask about nausea meds but they didn’t let me . They said that nausea it’s a sign of dehydration. I can’t get all protein and liquids in. I’m trying but it’s hard
  10. Number one the pain, not only on the biggest incision- so it’s hard to get up, lay down, it even hurts when I walk. The nausea... it’s driving me insane. My stomach hurts when I drink or eat. And I’m exhausted. I can sleep a lot. I get too tired and all have been taking too many naps since I’ve been home. At times my legs feel weak... and I keep thinking it’s probably all normal... but this is the stuff nobody talks to you about before surgery.

  15. Congrats! That’s awesome! Can’t wait for my results
  16. Oh man, reading this stuff freaks me out. They gave me morphine, I was in a lot of pain. And then they prescribed oxycodone
  17. I was the same way. I had my surgery on Monday. I didn’t think much of it until the morning of where I started crying to my husband. I felt very bad, but then I went to the hospital and I was thinking that right before the surgery I was going to tell them not to do it, but when I was in the table I only thought of the good things and my reasons why I looked into this in the first place. What do I want and what do I want my family to have, yes I’m doing it for myself but also for my family. Find your reasons and think about them while you go and get this done.
  18. My surgery was on March 5th. I’m having a hard time with everything. I wanted to know if anyone else who got surgery around the same date and see where you are at... I know everyone is different but it’s just difficult. Does anybody still gets the chills now and then?
  19. How are u doing? Me too March 5th

  24. I’m having the same issue. I really can’t drink and I get these really bad pains sometimes followed by nausea... my first thought was that I was dehydrated bc that’s what they tell u, nausea it’s a sign of dehydration, idk how to drink more, I really can’t. Same with my protein.
