  2. if you can keep the cobra insurance until the next job. i am having my surgery on the 25th, done on cobra because I lost my job, jesus, 10 months ago. If you have the surgery and only have cobra for that month, how will you pay for the fills? the fills at my hospital are expensive cuz of the way they do them. anyways, try to keep the cobra, and hopefully you'll have a new job soon
  3. I have a small hiatel hernia too. This is very common with overweight people. I was told since it was small it was no problem and they would likely repair it during the surgery. Did your Dr. say it might be a problem? To tell you the truth, I don't know what 'small' means in this case, only that the small ones don't cause problems generally, that's what I was told. What did your Dr. say?
