  1. I had vsg on 4/10. My surgeon only likes to give 2 weeks off to every patient. I literally had to beg for 1 extra week off. I definitely needed it.
  2. My initial visit was 12/27/17 and my surgery was 4/10/18. I have NC Medicaid.

From what I was told (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) at the beginning they check to make sure that weight loss surgery is covered by your insurance plan and what requirements you will have. After you have completed all the the required appointments they submit all of your office visit notes, lab tests, etc to see if you specifically will qualify and be approved for the surgery.
  13. Hi everyone! Monday 2/26 is my final appointment with my surgeon before everything is submitted to insurance. Super excited!
