  1. My dr does outpatient regardless if you are self pay or not. I was self pay and it was $1900 per night extra. I would have stayed if needed but I really didnt need to. They loaded me up with IV drugs and fluids before I left. I didnt vomit once (and havent once since surgery) or really feel nauseous. My husband had nursed me through major back surgery the year before and he is very keen on my pain levels etc. and was lucky to have him help me through this procedure. He was methodical in measuring my liquids and tracking them for the first three days. I was happy to be in my own bed and have my puggle by my side to help me heal!!!

  4. My surgery was at 9am and i was home by 5pm. Surgery on Tuesday, driving by Friday and back to work the next Monday. Best decision ever!!!! Good luck!
  5. Im six months out today. Mine started at about 4 months. I clean my brush out everyday. I am going to get a lob on Friday so my long hair doesnt start to look stringy. Hopefully it will stop soon and i can start letting it grow out again.

  7. I Went to dr stowers in Plano! He was amazing! Outpatient, back to work in 4 days havent thrown up once or had any issues at all! I think Dr Stowers and his team really have the secret sauce for this surgery! I asked him at my post op if he was sure he operated on me!

  11. I am sorry But the murdered potato made me laugh out loud. I have my first family dinner tonight and I think it’s going to be a similar disaster. FIL is making country ribs and steak neither of which I have ever been able to Chew because they are so tough. And I am still on soft foods still.

  13. So was I. They were able to get insurance to pick up a portion due to a hiatal hernia.

  15. I started with Dr DIRK but was tranferred to Dr Stowers who is in his group. Dr. stowers and his staff was amazing! I am 8 days post op and doing great!!

  19. I live in Dallas so dr stowers will be doing followups. Which facility did you decide on in mexico?
  20. Dr Stowers in Dallas. I just had surgery on the 20th. So far so good!
  21. I am self pay. The surgery cost me 9800. Top surgeon in Dallas. I was too chicken to go to mexico. Maybe you could self pay???
