  1. Hiyaaaa ive just joined too , im from north east england too im 44 , and pre op too , ive got my consultant appointment at the end of this month - im hopefully goin to have a bypass , i have told a few people but not everyone (all of my family know) , i need to lose at least 10 stone , for my health and also i have a umbilical hernia which they refuse to operate on whilst im so 'grossly overweight' (hernia consultants words!!) hernia consultant referred me , but my own GP referred me too - i just went in and asked (shy bairns get nowt and all that lol) ive been lost in the system a few times - but it seems to be all systems go now (hopefully) how are you getting on ? any further forward ? xxxxxx
