  1. Thanks everyone, I will try to get in some water but I think I'm not at risk of dehydration. I drink all day long decaf coffee and non caffine tea. my pee in almost clear. I don't want stones. I have a very tight fill so cool and cold will not go thru my band. I'll stick with hot for now and try some hot water with a sugar free crystal lite.
  2. I thought drinking decaf I was ok. I know that regular coffee and tea have a diuretic effect.
  3. I don't want to hear how good water is for your body. I know all of that. I just can't seem to drink water or any cold drinks. I drink my decaf coffee and my decaf tea all day long. I get about 60 to 80 oz a day. Can the pounds come off without the water? The fluids I drink all day are less then 400 cal. I have a very tight fill so I eat very small meals. I have a big problem with BPing if I eat or drink anything cold. So can a person still lose weight without drinking water?
  4. It's not that I didn't trust the hospital at all. It was very state of the art, very clean and nice at the hospital I was in. The problem was I already take meds and I didn't know if my med would be ok with the ones they gave me. My chioce to not take the pain pills was not a trust issue at all. I've had trouble in the past at home with meds not mixing well and didn't want to have trouble like that again.
  5. Thank you and good luck on your surgery. I had my lap band done in Mexico. It was very nice but the lack of english speaking hospital staff was very hard. I put all the pills they gave me in the trash because I didn't know what they were.
  6. I was in a car accident and have had a long recovery. I didn't get my first fill tell 3 months after getting my band and my second was 5 months after that. My third fill was to much and I was very sick and had to have all the fluid removed and I started over again this March. I'm on track now and I'm starting to drop my weight.
  7. my name is Carla, I live on the Oregon coast. I have mobility trouble so it's hard to exercise out of the water, but I do swim twice a week. I was banded in Mexico 4/10/07. I've had a hard time of it with this band. I'm down almost 40lbs. I have a hard time with drinking so much water. I do eat good food but not much of it. I know I'm going to beat this weight issue and be healthy someday. I will not ever give up no matter how slow I lose the pounds. Good luck to all with a healthly life.
