    Help!

Hi everyone, So I'm 4 years post-op and I have gained some weight! I've been trying to lose weight and not much is helping. Was thinking of asking my Doc for some appetite suppressor pills. Was wondering if anyone has taking any "diet pills" after Bariatric surgery? Any advice? TIA!
  2. Hi, I love spicy food however, after the surgery i’m scared to try anything spicy not waiting to upset my stomach. How was your experience with spicy food? -AJ
  3. So, i’m 2 weeks post op and everything is going great! however, yesterday and today i been having a lot of pimples showing up on my face! I did not change anything in my eating, lotions or soaps, I was wondering if anyone has or had a similar problem? -AJ
  4. Hi Guys, So today marks my 5th day having the surgery! I was really scared going into the hospital at 5:00AM chanting to myself “I can do this” over and over. It all started great they took a urine sample and told me to change into a hospital gown, everything after that went by really fast I was in the operating room by 7:00AM. I remember waking up in the recovery room in pain. But I expected that and soon after they gave me pain meds I was fine. I stayed in the hospital over night and the next day I was allowed to go home with a full bag of medications. Today, I can eat 3 purée meals a day ya me! Also my life consists of taking small sips of water ever minute. I still have sharp pains near my incision wounds every time I move, and it’s really hard for me to bend down to pick up something off the floor But, i’m getting through it everyday it gets easier. Hope this helps! AJ

    5 Day post op

I actually did not go thought a primary doctor. I found an ad about the program on a magazine and looking back at it now I think it was my sign to start losing weight. I called the program and signed up for the orientation class and they tell you how to schedule appointments with the doctor and the dietitian and honestly from that it was a six-month process but the hospital made it really easy to follow up with everything. -hope this helps AJ
