  9. I'm currently scheduled for surgery on March 5th pending insurance approval.I have called a total of 3 times once I was told they had just received my info and was attaching it to my file for the nurse who had to review my claim to make a decision. The other 2 times I was told they haven't received anything yet.Drs. office telling me they submitted info and we should have a response any time now.Has anyone else ever been in this position if so what was the outcome...what did u do?Because I just left a message with my surgeons secretary again.

  19. I got a message from the secretary on 1/10 letting me know she needed clearance for 2 more things. My psych eval(which was on friday and I was medically cleared)and then the results from my sleep study which is on 1/25 before she could schedule my surgery consultation.Well I got to thinking today what if I don't have sleep apnea which I feel I don't.However I emailed the doctor from there and she said it was determined I have mild sleep apnea and that we would go over exactly what that means when we meet next week as well as treatment for it.She also said to me that the Dr. office can call and find out that info so that it doesn't stall my surgery consultation being scheduled.Well with her saying that I now want to call the secretary and see if I can get an appointment for next friday to meet with the surgeon.I don't want it to seem like I'm being pushy but I'm anxious and I know I have some more waiting to do for insurance to approve me.I don't want to prolong the situation any more than it has to be.So my question is am I wrong if I want to call the secretary to see if she can schedule me for next friday to meet the surgeon? I don't want it to seem like I'm stepping on anyone's toes or being pushy
  20. I'm glad it worked out for you,how are you since surgery?did you have a smooth recovery?
