    Had my surgery on 1/19/18. After a 2 night stay, I came home with a JP drain which I believe only added to the small amount of pain I felt. The drain was removed a week after surgery so I'm feeling a lot better now. My program has me on a 3 week full liquid diet before progressing to pureed, but I'm finding myself missing the feeling of chewing my food although I don't have much of an appetite most of the time. I did step on the scale a few times and have lost approximately 13lbs since my surgery

    Received my insurance approval on 11/29/17 and VSG surgery is set for 1/18/18! So excited!!!
