Thanks everyone for the kind words. So far I'm doing pretty well, the gas pains are whats getting me down right now. I can't sleep, just can't get comfortable. I'm currently on my liquid diet, im not gonna lie.. its been rough. Especially during the Holidays. But stay strong, its gets easier.

I'm on day 2 and I cheated on day one. Nothing too horrible tho. Day 2 was easier because I was home all day. I didn't go to a Christmas function so I wouldn't be tempted by the food. I'm seriously hungry, and it's making me grouchy. Lol Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm only 8 days away! Cant get here soon enough! I've already got my overnight bag for my hospital stay packed. I start my liquid diet tomorrow That's going to be a huge challenge for me. My surgeon requires strictly liquid with no protein supplements 7-14 days prior. (which is only 7 for me) Plus its over the Holidays!! I'm super anxious to say the least. Everyone say a little prayer for me for the weekend. It is gonna take a lot of will power.

Hi All! My surgery date is 12/29/17! I am soo excited. My nervousness hasn't set in yet.. but I'm sure it will next week. I am trying to get a head start on packing since i work 2 jobs and basically gone all week, and with the holiday weekend I am going to be very busy as well. What did ya'll pack for your hospital stay? Your must haves, or wish you would have brought and didn't, or vice versa. I'm also staying a night in a hotel the day that I'm released. What clothes were comfortable?

I'm curious about the Protein Water too. Would love to know what everyone likes as well.

I start my preop diet on 12/22. How are you dealing with that for the Holidays? I'm not gonna lie, its going to be tough for me.
