Hello to everyone....After about 4 weeks of going down 1 up 2 and staying on the same :crying:...this week went dn 3.5lbs:thumbup:..It was the best feeling. Congrats to all for the grt job. Being almost at the half way mark is amazing.

:eek: Hello, I have systemic sarcoid and my band was done in May. I have lost weight which I know has helped with my symptoms. I take prednisone, plaquenil and cellcept...the cellcept were large pills so I get in liquid for. researcg the meds you are on if the come in liquid forms. My surgeon was ok with sarcoid and allof my drs...cardiologist, pulm, endo, neuro all approved it. Best of luck. Sarcoidosis Does really stink!!!!! Your fills should be adjusted to your needs. I am doing fine with the band ... Horrible with the sarcoid:thumbs_down::mad2:

Hello and congrats to everyone. I have a question...I went in for my second fill on Thursday the 14th. Since the fill I have had no restriction and am hungrier than ever before...is this normal?

Congrats to everyone. I was banded on May 22nd. I have lost in total 47 lbs including pre-op. I have had one fill and going for my second the end of Aug. Keep up the great work everyone!!!!

Glad to hear you are doing ok. I too had a hernia..I guess it is common. I too took tylenol. Congrats to all of us on our new lives!!:cool2:

OMG....we are finally in band land. surgery went well. Better than exected. I spent the night in step down b/c of other medical issues. I did well!!!! I feel gd. Never needed pain meds except for tylenol for a headach. Have been walking alot. drining sips at a time..not hungry at all. Hope everyone is doing well. :cool2:

Well everyone 2 days left..I personally is very excited, scared and nervous. I just wish it was the 22nd already.Or maybe the 23rd LOL!!!

Everything will be fine!!!! Think of it as the step to the other side. We will all do well and we will do it together. Half the battle is keeping a positive attitude. Trust me I have been through a lot and it has helped all the way. Let catch up next week. You are in my prayers.

I too just finished my treatments...except I am on a daily immunosuppresant now. I asked the surgeon what if I need treatments again and have complications...he also mentioned the band is reversable, that is the best part about it. Best of luck to everyone and to you Bamalama congrats!!!

I am sorry you had a bad experience..I am being banded on 5/22 with Dr. Fielding. I do know that the person for the insurance and booking recently resigned The woman doing it now is new. I wish you good luck and a better experience in the future.
