  1. I was recently diagnosed with osteoporis, my results just on the cusp. My doctor wanted to put me on prolia. We chatted, and we discussed my working on exercise and jump therapy to see if I can at least stablise before going on meds. Have 18 months. I was hoping to do the LIFTMOR program, unfortnately there are not any licensed/trained therapists in my area. So have a weights program, doing some jump therapy and walking, also supplementing Vitd (always low for me) and some calcium, though not too much calcium as I'm trying to get more through my food intake. Hope all goes well for you.

  4. Seriously don't, it will be a waste of money. Highly likely to become unviable...the suture loosen or come undone.

  7. It may not be hunger you are feeling, but rather acid reflux. I assume you have something for that? If so you may need something stronger.

  11. If the dry mouth continues, and various reasons have been considered and ruled out, speak to your doctor about the possiblity of sjogren's syndrome.

  15. Happy to hear you are doing well now, lots of working may help with the burping.
  16. It should be, but just stick to a pack a day or every other day.
  17. Could be contact dermatitis and you may need a hydrocortisone cream. Chat to your doctor. I typically end up with contact dermatitis if I wear a band-aid/plaster too long. Ended up with a really bad case around all my incision sites.
  18. Your BMI is a little under 39. Have you had an sleep apnea test? for the snoring? Do you have any other health issues as a result of being overweight? Regardless, I would think losing approx 100lb could only be beneficial for your current and long term health.

  20. Have you seen a bariatric dietician? If not, perhaps it may be timely to do so. If I have understood correctly, you are eating 1/2cup of food at a time, many times a day??? You don't say what you are actually consuming...are you eating calorie dense foods? Nuts/seeds, cheese, full fat yoghurts/milk, avocado, salmon and other oily fish, eggs? Have you actually calorie counted your daily intake over a week or so? What exercise are you doing on a daily basis?
  21. Perhaps you get a bit more feedback if you were able to find a local/Indian bariatric facebook page or group?

  23. Welcome, hope you are recovering well from your surgery.
  24. That weight loss is pretty good for someone with your start wegiht, you are not going to lose massive amount when starting lower. So nothing only about your weight loss at all.
