  1. Had surgery on Monday at 7:30. Was home by 2:00 pm on Monday and I pretty much slept the rest of the day. Didn’t drink much at all, was so out of it. Yesterday I felt so thirsty. I had mostly water and some jello stuff from my doctor which was okay. Had maybe 3 spoonfuls. Yesterday and today I have also tried a protein drink, a cappuccino flavored protein thing, broth w/ protein, and then just regular broth, and then broth strained from soup (obviously super super, super small tastes. It sounds like a lot but the amount I tasted altogether prob isn’t even an ounce idk. I was using baby spoons) and it all just tastes freaking awful. Either too sweet or weird after tastes, idk. I just want to drink water. 5’6” 25 yo CW: 256
  2. Had my surgery early this morning. Feels like I’m kind of coming down with the flu. That yucky, achey feeling. 5’6” 25 yo CW: 256
  3. Yes, I’m in the US! It’s 1:00am. I know I need to sleep, especially since I have to be there at 5:30. I just can’t stop reading this forum, my book, and Dr. Google though! 5’6” 25 yo CW: 256
  4. Mine is at 7:30, I’m the first of the day. I can’t sleep though. I think I’m too nervous. I’m really, really excited. But also super nervous about being put under and having a complication or even of having the surgery cancelled (but mainly the other part). So many thoughts and emotions! 5. My husband passed away earlier this year. We have a very young daughter together. His passing was the catalyst for me and this surgery because I want to be healthy and around for my daughter. I have struggled with my weight for a while now, plus health issues, and family history. My surgery is scheduled for 12/4 and I’m getting really nervous! What if I do this to be healthier for my daughter and myself but instead I die during surgery and leave her with NO parents?? Also, lesser concerns, but I’m suppose to start my two week pre-surgery diet next week and I already feel embarrassed and like I’m going to fail because it’s my daughter’s birthday AND Thanksgiving. I’m also worried about judgement or being embarrassed in front of my family. They know and have been super supportive, so I think it’s mainly in my head and nothing that they’ve said or done, but the thoughts are still there. And so much more but I’ll just ramble.
