  1. Yeah I honestly thought it looked like a waste of money (just the opinion of someone who isn't used to having that much money to spend lol). I never thought about going on pinterest, I'll have a look! Thanks for the great advice xxx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133 Instagram: jeez_sleevedlouise
  2. Thank you very much! Flavored water sounds much better! Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133 Instagram: jeez_sleevedlouise
  3. Thank you for posting this. I also have ptsd, anxiety and depression. I wanted to know the answers too but didn't want to make the post. Much respect xxx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133 Instagram: jeez_sleevedlouise
  4. I'm feeling 70% nervous 30% excited hahaha I'm not gunna lie part of me is wondering if I'm going to go through with it but for now I'm forcing positive thinking, talking to lots of people in the same boat as us, and pushing on as best as I can! How are you feeling? Yes I need to get my multivitamins still! I am just as the hospital waiting room now, sure it's my last appointment before surgery so they'll be giving me a list of bits and bobs hopefully! 5. Ooooh surgery twin! 20 days and counting! [emoji28] yeah that's a good idea I'll stick to what I have and go with the flow lol Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133 Instagram: jeez_sleevedlouise
  6. Yeah I thought on the same lines as you and was hoping it was true! Like some things just seem really gimmicky and not worth it. I shall definitely take the lip balm then haha. Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133 Instagram: jeez_sleevedlouise
  7. Hey guys, I'm having the sleeve done on the 17th of next month and I haven't bought anything for post surgery yet! I'm seeing posts all over my Instagram feed of cool cooking gadgets and even this machine that turns all your vitimans into a shot but I just wondered what you would class as the basics/must haves. I already have a blender, food scales and a step tracker. Anything else you could add that you couldn't be without now? ? Thanks xx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  8. Im in the same boat as you hun, I have to go to the hospital to be weighed and I have really struggled to excersize and eat better. Had a lot of stress as well as being the holiday period! I'm hoping we'll both be OK [emoji21] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  9. I'm really happy that even though you had the same thoughts as me you don't regret anything. Sounds like the surgery was definitely for you! Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  10. I really liked that point about the heart attack. Thank you, I am starting to feel alot better about it! I do deserve this [emoji16] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  11. Thank you, that certainly makes me feel alot better. I'm so glad you're having success with your surgery! Can't wait to be on the other side with you. I'll definitely be reading through these comments the night before [emoji28] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  12. Congratulations on your surgery! Sounds like all is going well so far [emoji4] I'm glad you get where I'm coming from. Looks like you've done a hell of alot to lose some weight. Maintaining seems to be everybody's main issue! I put on weight so quickly! I'd lose 3lb one week and put on 4 the next, completely all over the place, and some weeks not lose at all. Absolutely frustrating and I can't wait for that to be a thing of the past! Thanks for your reply xxx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  13. I wish I got to the lose stage to begin with! Then again it's more disheartening losing it and watching your hard work fade away as you regain! Fingers crossed all goes well! Xx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  14. I really hope it does. I've read some articles that say that some people develop depression after the surgery. Hopefully because I've been through it on occasion I'll be able to manage it better. If it did actually improve my mind that would be amazing though! Glad someone else understands what it does to you mentally and physically! I wish you even more success in the future xxx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  15. There you are! Someone who feels like me! I knew you were out there somewhere haha. This has made me feel so much less alone. And thank you, I wouldn't of walked if it wasn't for these comments, this community has been a life saver for me. I'm glad I've posted this. Sorry to hear you feel your slipping back onto old habits but you've also done so well! You can do it! xx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  16. Hey thanks for telling me your story. I'm sorry to hear you had a misscarraige! My weight also went up as soon as I had my first misscarraige in 2011 (a year after you) I then went on to have another 3 and decided that it just wasn't my time and went on the pill which I don't think has helped. I haven't necessarily gone up and down with my weight, I'm getting bigger each year and give up so easily feeling miserable. I gave up work due to depression and anxiety and have been stuck in the house for 2 years with 0 motivation to go out and excersize. I'm planning on moving out and getting a job after this surgery, I really do think it's the kick I need. I'm so happy you're having such great success! I'm sure you'll keep doing great [emoji16] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  17. After reading your comment I went for a walk, thank you for this. I'm glad you know in your heart you truly deserve the surgery, I wish I did but you're right about how it doesn't matter too much if I hadn't tried my very hardest, what matters is now. [emoji4] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  18. Thanks so much for your advice. I will try to use this time wisely while I can in regards to my relationship with food. can't wait to join you! Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  19. Bless your heart you've been through alot. I would say that it sounds like you most definitely deserve the surgery, but the point of your reply is that we shouldn't think like that and catorgrise each other in order of most deserving to least. Thanks so much for your honest reply, really has made me feel alot better. I too have asthma and know that this certainly doesn't help when it comes to excersizing! Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  20. So true it's not the easy way out, I'll still have to work at it! Also I was on such denial about having a food addiction but I'm starting to accept that maybe I have when I'm not feeling great. Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  21. Honestly I thought I was going to open my comments up and see replys like "ofcourse we've tried hard enough, how can you even ask that?“ and/or "it sounds like you probably shouldn't have the surgery" but I haven't. Thank you so much for your honest answers and advice on making me feel less deserving that anyone else. I went on an hour and a half walk today with busts of running and jogging in between and I already feel better. I think the difference on feeling guilty is the fact I'm getting the surgery on the NHS and haven't paid for it like alot of people have to. If I paid for it myself I wouldn't even question it. Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  22. OK so I understand I may get a telling off from some of you, but this is something I'm really curious about so gunna just go ahead and ask. Before your weight loss surgery, did you guys really try to lose it on your own? May sound a silly question, we've all tried but how long was we trying before deciding on the surgery and how long did each diet and excersize plan last? I'm asking this because since bring accepted I'm starting to feel guilt. (I will be getting my surgery on the NHS) I feel like I could of tried harder and for longer and that maybe I'm not deserving of this surgery. I have serious motivation problems when it comes to even going to the shop down the road from me let alone excersize. I think it's due to my depression. Also having pcos, it takes a lot longer for results to start showing so I hold my hands up and say that because I wasn't seeing change soon enough I would get upset give up easily. Please say I'm not the only one who feels like this! Ever since deciding on getting the surgery I can't help but feel so undeserving of it. Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  23. You're the exact same weight as me then! How tall are you if you don't mind me asking? I hope my goal of 130 isn't too much. I am only 5"2 so should be fine. Yeah I'm on the diet myself. I haven't been doing too great if I'm honest but hopefully they will still be alright with doing it. April is still not all that far away! I get butterflies everytime I think of my date. Good ones I think lol. Congrats to you too for deciding to get the surgery. We will do great! Xx Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  24. Thank you! I hope not, I haven't seen many that have so far [emoji28] Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
  25. I'm only 5"2 and weigh 238 so that's alot for me! And do these people think we should just wait until we get to that size? Why wait? Just nip it in the bud asap while it's safe! Surgery due January 17th 2018 CW 238 GW 133
