Just had my surgery and wanted to let you know that all went well ...and guess what? That head strong, very opinionated family I was worried about telling and sent those letters to, right before I️ went into the OR, all showed up to the hospital and were waiting to greet me when I️ woke up in recovery! I️ want to wish everyone well that is having surgery today; you will all be in my thoughts and prayers not only for a successful surgery but a speedy recovery as well. Of course I️ will do my best to keep you all updated as to how my surgery goes today. My nerves are starting to rattle a bit but I’m okay! I want to go skydiving with my husband. He went a few years ago before we were married with a few of his buddies and I was so sad that I couldn’t participate because of my weight (the max weight is 240). I would also like to go horseback riding and zip lining!

Yes, all set and ready to go! Bag is packed, daughter situated, got all my supplements and drinks! Super excited to get this over with! I’m actually feeling better than I was a few days ago. .. I was fine until yesterday; I had blood drawn for my preoperative appointment & now I just feel like BLAH! It started with a headache last night and today I’m dragging. Still not hungry, which is great; I think my body has gotten used to the low calorie liquid diet. But I have no energy. I should add that I am anemic so I’m thinking with all the blood that was drawn and the combination of little to no calories that could be the culprit. Going to bed early this evening.

Heyyyyyy I finally found you guys..my November RNY buddies *smiles* Just wanted to say hi! My surgery is set for November 7th. Day six of liquid diet and I’m cruising *sunglasses smiling emoji face! Today, I had a pre operative work up crossed fingers there are no surprises.
