Lol ... I called every other day. Then the day I decided to wait & not call I got the letter.. A couple of days later the surgeon’s office called ans scheduled my 4 hour class, my pre-op appointment & my surgery all at once!! They wanted to schedule me for Jan 10 th!!’ But I need to tie up stuff at work & find someone to fill in for me so I settled on February 6th... I’m soooo excited!

Hi! My date is 2/6/18... I’m super excited and looking forward to this new chapter in my life. I started my process back in March - so needless to say I feel “relieved” that I am in the “home stretch”. I was nervous about the psych evaluation and the insurance approval - both went easily so don’t worry! Yay us!!

Thank you for your response ... mine is mild and well controlled with minimum doses of meds... I think I'm just anxious about the whole "approval" process lol. It's like "passing" a test at school.

Good morning all! I am new around here and I've just started the process for Bariatric Surgery - my initial consult is October 10th. I have lots of questions for my surgeon but I was wondering what the experience has been for anyone on antidepressants... was there any obstacles as far as being approved for the surgery? Thank you
