I’m late to this party but they had me change into a hospital gown and put on a cap. They put in an iv and took my blood pressure a few times. Then they rolled me down to the room for the procedure. We were talking and laughing and then they told me to bite down on the mouth guard. I remember nothing after that. They were saying “time to wake up” and I was confused. Had no idea they had done anything, lol. Oh and prior to getting into the hospital gown they made me do a pregnancy test. That was my experience, lol

I’m having bypass on the 28th! It’s so good to have a surgery date twin! Best wishes!

Oh you’re definitely doing surgery sooner than me. You are starting your liquid diet already. My pre-op appointment is June 12th and I believe I start my liquid diet that day or the next! Glad to have an approval buddy! Keep us posted about your date!

How is your journey going? Hope all is well!

I’m 5’7” and at my heaviest I was 321 but when I started my journey I was 309. My surgery date is 6/28/18. At the end of my 7 months of required nutrition visits I was 283. But then I got on birth control and ballooned up to 294. I was told not to worry about it because the liquid diet will take the weight off but it is very annoying ??‍♀️

I have seen it but my surgeon wants me to use isopure clear protein instead. I had a sample of the isopure and it was okay

I get so excited for everyone! Feels like its taking me forever. Ready for my turn...lol I do, however, love reading the experiences all of u have before me.
