Yes it is! I'm still in shock mode because it happened unexpectedly fast! I'm just so thankful everything went through. I was starting to feel discouraged and a bit stressed [emoji30]

I'm still waiting too, my doctor didn't have enough information on his notes so now those have to be resubmitted, good news is the letter from my insurance says they have to give you an answer within 5 business days...hope everything goes well for you!

Every time I feel like I'm getting somewhere I somehow am not, I get a call from my surgeons office last week saying his notes are not detailed enough for my insurance. I thought everything was cool because it had been submitted two weeks ago, been going at this process since February of this year. I had to wait till today as I'm writing this waiting in the waiting room because of course my doctor is only in the office twice a week. I woke up Sunday morning and just cried saying "I don't wanna be like this anymore" my husband comforted me and we prayed together. I still feel like this process is so long I'm starting to lose patience and hope like am I gonna finally get that call saying I'm approved and my surgery date. Need some encouragement!

I'm in the same boat, doctors office said it could take up to 30 days and they submitted last Friday. The anticipation definitely is at an all time high right now!

So I'm fairly new to BP hello everyone! I'm in the process of trying to get approved for sleeve surgery by the end of this year, good news is my surgeons office sent off my information this past Friday bad news is now I gotta wait lol I have Blue Shield of California Does anyone know the average time they take to approve or deny?

Ok that's a good idea I will start on that now, yeah I've heard a lot of good things about Marina Del Rey so I'm super excited just have to stop being anxious lol

Awesome thank you so much, I've completed my Psych evaluation and dietician appointment last week so now just playing the waiting game hoping I can get sleeved asap I do know that my surgery is gonna be at Marina Del Rey Hospital when everything is ready but this time spent has helped me to keep looking up information and try to be as prepared as possible!
