  1. I work at a movie theater. I am surrounded by free popcorn. This has been a HUGE struggle for me. I have been making poor choices. I am 11 months out.. I need help with ways you all stay on track. I've been balancing between 185-190lbs. I started at 300. I still want to get to 165. Please help with ways that distract you from eating or keep you busy. I have a lot of down time while at work. I even started taking online classes to keep myself busy at work.. lol. but, it's not worked. ANY INFO WOULD HELP!
  2. Hey Brenda! I struggle to get my protein and calcium in as well.. however, I have calcium chews. I get them from Bariadvantage. The strawberry kind taste like Starburst, but they can be expensive.. and I have the same issue with the shakes. I can only tolerate premier protein, but they are really unaffordable. I'm on Facebook, Briana Boehme.. feel free to add me!
  3. I'm 24! I had surgery on 3/16/17.. and I'm struggling to find "friends" on here.. so feel free to get ahold of me
  4. I've been struggling financially and emotionally for about a week or 2 now.. I gave in today and ate a fun size pack of m&ms and I ate maybe 10 French fries that my friend left behind at my house today... Food has always been my coping skill.. so, my question is.. how do you cope with this kind of stuff now? Thanks.
  5. I find it difficult now to not give into cravings.. I just don't overindulge.. but at work all I do is sit around (it's slow for the movie theater business until November) and I have to smell the popcorn.. I do have some, but without the butter and no where near the amount that I used to consume before!
  6. For my multivitamin we were told to get Flintstones chewable. I have 2 a day.. and recommend.. but DO NOT get the off-brand.. they're terrible!
  7. I'm about 5 months post op.. surgery was 3/16/17.. RNY HW:300 SW: 294 CW: 218 These are taken 6 months apart.. went on a cruise before surgery!
  8. I'm Briana! Im 24 and I'm from a small town in Indiana.. I don't have many friends in the bari-community. I'd like to make some! I don't care where you're from.. you don't have to live close! We could exchange numbers and be each others' "go to" person when we feel like giving up. I have been struggling lately with cravings and giving in to them.. i need some motivation to start exercising and to find ways to refrain from eating too much. I am currently supposed to stick to 4 oz of food at each meal.. this has been the hardest.. we do have local support groups, but I work on the nights that they meet.. so I'm reaching out to you guys! HW-300, SW-294, CW-218 RNY-3/16/2017
  9. How are you recovering? I'm clear in Indiana, but hope all is well!
  10. I have lost so much hair to the point where I want to cry. I know it will come back in but I've been losing it for about a month or so now.. I'm 5 months post op RNY. Hopefully I see some regrowth soon!
  11. I'm 5 months post op with RNY. I have been having terrible cravings for carbs.. and I can't seem to stick to my restrictions of 4 oz of food at each meal. I work at a movie theater where I have unlimited access to popcorn.. I am struggling with staying on track and need some support. I have lost approximately 76 lbs since surgery on 3/16/17. Any suggestions with how to get back on track would be excellent! Thanks!
