April 10th Surgery- surgery buddies?
Yes and terrified all at the same time. Lol I know it will all be worth it and I keep reminding myself of that. Do you have a liquid diet before surgery?

Any April surgery buddies
Definitely fingers crossed!! Im a side sleeper too. I’ve read on here that if you prop the pillows around you it helps. Most people said within 10 days they could side sleep with no problems. I’m hoping that’s the case for us too. [emoji4]

Thanks. I am on a low carb deal now anyway so it’s probably fine. I just wanted to confirm with the office that they didn’t forget to tell me something. Lol Where are you having your surgery. I’m on the phone app so I can’t see any stats. [emoji52]

April 9 surgery date
Woo hoo!!!!! My dr. office called today and my surgery date is set! I’m excited and terrified all at the same time. It’s such an awesome feeling that in a couple of weeks, I will be on the losers bench. It’s been a long 7 months of appointments and tests but I see the finish line - well actually the starting line of my new lease on life! [emoji16][emoji15][emoji16][emoji15][emoji16]

People making decision difficult
You need to do what is best for you. No one else. Postponing a chance to be healthier and possibly avoid serious long term health issues should not be an option. Diet and exercise alone works for some people but there are those of us that needs that extra help. Majority of us can lose a few pounds (or a lot) but it comes right back. Bariatric surgery is the best option to help us maintain and keep it off. It’s not an easy way out and will never replace diet and exercise. Surgery is merely a tool to help it stick. You will still be able to workout with your friend after surgery. I hope you choose what is best for you and not wait to start living your best life.

I’m Getting IUD-2months before Surgery
Not sure if you still want the option to have children but if you don’t, I had a procedure called Novasure to stop from having heavy periods every 15 days. It totally stopped my periods. It will permanently prevent pregnancy. It was the alternative to a hysterectomy and I got to keep all my hormone-making lady parts. Best thing I ever did.

What is a good brand food scale? I’ve never used one but will need one after surgery. Thanks in advance.

Hoping you got good news about your revision. What did you find out? I’m still moving through all the prerequisites.

Anyone Use Tricare?
I’m glad to hear that! I was worried that I would go through all the steps and then get a denial.
