  5. I think it's important to remember that food is the one thing we need to survive but we have found ourselves in a place where food has become dangerously unhealthy to our bodies because we have overindulge for one reason or another and now is like starting from scratch learning new tools to help us become healthy, but it is groups like this then allow us to see that we are not the only one that struggles with food and weight.
  6. I am hoping for October planned the first family vacation in Florida for Christmas[emoji848]
  7. Mary, Welcome the one thing that is most important is, that you know how you are feeling health wise. Everyone can tell you why you shouldn't have vgs , but the choice is only yours to make. I know the one thing that I have really hated is having the words morbidly obese written in my chart [emoji35] no I am not 260 or even 300, but I am just tired of carrying so much extra and having to pay more for clothes. Live your truth. I am 5"0 & 253 which is the down 258.2 which was my highest weight. Which I would have never told anyone, but here we are all struggling trying to see what the other side looks like [emoji3] so don't give up and don't let anybody sabotage your dream.
  8. Thanks for the encouragement, I think that groups like this give us a knowledge even though everyone's experience is different we can find what works and share it with others that may be considering this type of lifestyle change. As I get older I realize that I needed more then just dieting. My biggest problem is portion control and that is one reason why this will help me because there is a built-in limit for food intake. We are one day closer to a new life.[emoji3]
