Day 4.of pre op diet here, how's everyone dealing with it? So far so good.. I'm having a little trouble with the HMR 70 Shakes as I like the Premier ones better.

After the painful wait after being denied due to lack of documentation I am finally approved today! Surgery Sept 7th Anyone else??

I hate waiting, My stuff was submitted last Tuesday and I was denied on Friday due to the Surgeons office not submitting my august appts. Talked to office Monday they submitted it now Aetna is saying they received yet my Drs needs to do a peer to peer.. I don't even know what that is... It's getting old.

Oh I hear you my stuff was submitted to Aetna last Tuesday then denied Friday as the Surgeon's office left out my August visits which I needed to complete my requirements. Office submitted that info Monday and I called the insurance today and they confirmed they have it yet the Drs office still needs to do a peer to peer and I have no idea what that is but my Dr's office is not calling me back... I am sick of waiting!

I have Aetna and I have been going to the Beaumont weight loss centers since May doing all my visits, Drs, Nut, fitness and physic. I was so excited when they said it's time to see the surgeon and get approval. I went to the Surgeon August 7th they submitted my info August 8th. I had my 4 month appt August 8th with Dr,Nut and fitness... August 11th I got denied by Aetna for not meeting the 3 months 90 calendar days program. Apparently it's not really 3 months it's 90 days so I need that August visit submitted and they didn't. Surgeons office if now saying they will see if they can submit it to them or if they have to appeal it. I am so irritated. I wanted to be able to have surgery prior to school going back. I work at an elementary school. From what I understand now that it wasn't submitted properly it can take months now.... So sad............... Anyone else have this happen??
