Yes I had a diet plan. Followed it. Yes I have gone to my f/u appt. Went to nut, have a dr app in a couple of weeks. I am in Pueblo West. I don't even get any pleasure in grocery shopping. I read labels a lot, look at sugars and carbs, fat content. I can't believe all the junk I use to eat. I have tried some things but they don't even taste good anymore. Having trouble finding things to eat. I am 6 wks post op sleeve. Protein shakes only thing that taste and sound good. Sometimes I can eat some cottage cheese but most everything nauseates me. Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

Thank you. I have my son also. Doesn't really understand, but I really didn't include him on everything. He can be very judgmental. I know it will take some time and I need to be more open with him. Had surgery on Thurs, Jan 18. Discharged Friday night. The first night was rough. Saturday was better. I haven't taken any pain meds at all. Trying to get my protein an water in. Not being able to have a bm is horrible. I finally had one today. Thank goodness. Ended up with hemiroids bigger than the state of Texas! These really suck. I too am second guessing myself. I started this journey back in august. I have a surgery date of Jan 18. I feel like I'm in a little bit of a pickle. I saved money for my procedure, but I was layed off Dec 15. I am currently living on my severance pay. Do I postpone it and be an adult and save the money I have of better my health? Hey all. I have a surgery date of Jan 18. I just recently lost my job. I have insurance thru my severance until March. I'm worried about follow up appts and and also not having a nutritionist. Kinda worried. I also don't have a support system, except everyone on here (thank goodness). I was wondering if I should wait to have the surgery later. I am having sleeve done. I'm 56, 5'3" 212 with HB,cholesterol, gerd, mild sleep apnea, arthritis. I also have hashimotos. I am to start the pre op diet tomorrow. I could use some input.
