  1. Was sleeved 3/26 at 357.6, lost 15 pounds the first week and nothing since. Kinda weird but it is what it is. Not trying to stress on something that’s completely out of my control. Should start my period tomorrow so am probably holding on to some water as well. I see my doc for my post op check in on Monday but have already started a few soft foods. So good!
  2. Oh no!! I hope she feels better soon! I’m meeting all my liquid and protein goals, very happy about that. Have taken walks everyday but did use pain meds! My gas pains were gnarly! Feeling so much better now but am pretty hungry which sucks!!! Come on 4/9! I want some Tuna and saltines!
  3. You and me both sister! And I don’t see Dr. Li until 4/9th!!!

  6. You’re doing great!! I’m not gonna lie I’ve been feeling hunger pains all day today!!!! Not what I was hoping for. Now the mental game kicks in. This most certainly was not the easy way out!!
  7. Torrid!
  8. Thanks, yea the 75 grams of protein are from 2.5 premiere protein shakes. I drink half a shake at a time. I really don’t wanna feel more fatigued then I already do so I’m pushing to get at least 2.5 in a day. Good luck to you!!
  9. Boy has it been rough but it’s most certainly getting easier. I was sleeved March 26th and just started feeling better yesterday. Still feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut by a horse. My doc already has me on soft pureed foods but I’m still mostly getting liquids down. Yesterday I got 86 ozs down with 75 grams of protein. I also had a tiny bit of pudding and a fudgesicle, both delightful. I still get a pressure sensation when I drink (as soon as it hits my gut) but it passes after a few seconds. Still getting rid of the gas too. Good luck guys, remember day by day.
  10. Today is much better pain wise thank the lord! Still very sore and still a little gassy. I see a light now!

  13. You’re so awesome! I keep telling myself one day at a time, tomorrow will be better and the day after that even better! Just took my pain meds and had half a s/f popsicle. Trying the best I can. Haven’t thrown up so doing pretty good! When’s your surgery? Oh and here’s this...
  14. I just got home, pain is moderate, not gonna lie. The gas pains are gnarly. I’m getting about an oz every half hour to hour. My back is killing me from laying in bed. Walking really does help. Sorry I sound like such a wuss, I know everyday will get better!
