I am new to this whole thing, so pardon me if I am asking dumb questions. My surgical eval is 4/14 . . . but in the meantime, I'm excited, nervous, excited, scared, excited . . . did I mention excited?
I know that the band controls "stomach" hunger and it gives you the sensation of being full on normal/smaller portions of food.
But I know that with every "diet" I've ever been on, I've felt hungry in more ways than just with my stomach . . . I get headaches, I get shaky, I get irritable. Do you get this when you are eating less with the band?
I just look at my portions now and I'm questioning how it is EVEN possible to mentally feel full after eating so little.
I guess my other question, too, is what size portions do you eat? I hear an awful lot of talk about 2-3 ounces of food . . . I have twin babies and their baby food jars come in 4 ounces and 6 ounces! Makes me nervous!
Thank you in advance.
