  4. I am so terrified, yet so excited. I started the 2 week liquid diet before my surgery on Monday. And I can safely say that I wouldn't probably be able to do it without my boyfriend and my friends cheering me on and being so supportive. Support for this huge step is such a necessity. I don't know how some people on here can do it without the support of their loved ones. I have joined Bariatricpal.com in order to be that support to others who need just a little bit extra motivation. I had Stage three Thyroid and Lymph-node cancer when I was 16. I played softball at Fresno State until my knees blew.. and than my whole body blew up. I miss being able to have fun and go out side and feel good during the day. The end result is so worth it you guys, that's what I keep telling myself.
  5. I am also an August sleever. And I can say for certain, I have thought multiple times about not getting my surgery. But, the thing is. I have no thyroid, I'm young, in love, and want to be healthy. I used to play softball at Fresno State, busted my knees and couldn't play anymore and than my health just went horribly from there. Keep on writing! Good luck!
