    Poop talk (sorry!)

This happened to me. One day I was in the toilet 7 times. I was fine once I started eating purée now I am constipated. I think it's just a shock to the stomach they told me I could take 1 Imodium if I felt I needed to stop in order not to be dehydrated.
  4. I just started puree today. I am down 24 lbs and I feel great. I cannot get in the amount of water I need so my skin feels very dry. But honestly I have very few issues the gas of course but walking and gas X helped. A bit of mental hunger. But once you realize you are not really hungry you can combat it.

    Need a pal...or several!

I am 3 days in and no hunger. Its really weird because I should be dying with what I am actually consuming but I feel totally fine. It's those damn TV commercials I want to kill! I always say to my daughter when she needs to eat that she is Hangry. (Hunger make her Angry) So although I am not hungry I miss eating. I assume this is part of the process I believe this will help me give food less of an important place in my life. Each of us has a different journey and each of us has different relationships with food. I think its awesome to be one of those people who has to think if they ate! Instead of the person who planned their day around their meals. Good Luck!

    Tomorrow is the day

Good Luck and yes walk as much as possible and if your desperate the gas x. Lift your arms while walking that helps too. I am 3 days in and still having some gas bubbles. 1 moment at a time. We will all get thru it.

Hi Everyone, I will be having surgery 8/15- once I am cleared by my PCP. I am nervous and anxious about how I am going to cope with not being able to eat. I have a very supportive family. I am hoping that by reading these post it will help me cope and identify the stages of my food grief. As I am sure I will be having them. I have been over weight since I was about 13 years old never ever been thin. It seem like I went from an girls 8 to a woman's 12 overnight back then. I keep wondering if I will loose weight. I am not very active as I work behind a desk all day. I have to incorporate some kind of movements in my days. I know what I need to do I just need to get up and do it. I am not a cook and I hate to do it. I am not a good shopper I always feel super overwhelmed if I am making the right decisions. We also have young kids 11 & 5, not sure how the whole dinner scene is going to go. I am ready for my new adventure.
