  13. Hi everyone I have a really bad cold the kind where I feel like I'm coughing up a lung. I tried to take cough medicine Mucinex and vomited it all up instantly. Any one ever have problems with cough medicine or found one that stays down?
  14. Congratulations! I know what you mean. My bra size went from a 44 to a 36! I don't think I've had a 36 since high school haha Sent from my Pixel 2 using BariatricPal mobile app

  17. I'm only down 40 pounds. I hear you. I wanted more too. But it's really true that what really matters is how your feeling. I know I'm feeling better than I was before and that makes it worth it in my opinion. Sent from my Pixel 2 using BariatricPal mobile app

  19. Hi. I have been experiencing this also. I'm not having complete emotional breakdowns, but I have been crying more frequently. I am planning on talking with the doctor at my next appointment. I don't think it would hurt to talk with the doctor about it. For me I think I'm just emotionally overwhelmed with so many changes going on. Perhaps it could be something like that. The place I had my surgery done at has a counselor on staff that I might be meeting with. See if that's something the doctor would recommend it may be helpful.

  23. Try the skinny girl mixers and wines. They have less sugar and lower calorie. I went to a wedding two weeks post op and had a sip of wine during the toast. I will admit it hit me pretty hard but I really don't drink very often.
  24. I agree. Definitely call the doctor with questions about cold symptoms. I also got an early period the morning of my surgery. It's probably due to stress. Try to relax and don't worry too much. Best wishes!
  25. Hi all. I'm reading about all these struggles with sweets. Honestly there's a lot of stuff out there with sugar substitute that are actually pretty good. I made pumpkin pie without crust and used Splenda instead of sugar. It was so good and I couldn't tell the difference. There's so many things you can enjoy. If your craving ice cream there's a brand called enlightened. It's high protein and no sugar. It's ok to have a treat especially with the alternatives available. Just try to get the sugar free stuff.
  26. I agree. With what every one is saying. That is great progress. Just think most diet programs say you can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.
  27. I also had a very hard time with eggs. It makes me terribly nauseous and is painful after eating. I used to love scrambled eggs.

  29. Hi. I also got my sleeve on the 25 th. Doing well overall. I am doing my best to get in my protein. Still having pain when standing up and sitting down and having dizzy spells. I know I'm a bit dehydrated and tend to forget to dink slow when I feel thirsty. I am having terrible heartburn. So I'm still learning to get into the habit of drinking slowly all day. I am down a total of 17 pounds. So far no regrets. Best wishes everyone! Sent from my Lenovo YT3-X90F using BariatricPal mobile app

  31. Hi all. I'm two weeks post op and am doing well overall. I am wondering if anyone ever experienced random dizzy spells after surgery. They seem to come on very suddenly and I have to immediately sit down drink some water and rest. It seems to happen every day. I'm also sleeping a lot and get tired very quickly. I'm thinking maybe it's dehydration or a blood sugar drop. I don't have diabetes. I'm hoping it is something that will improve over time. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-X90F using BariatricPal mobile app
  32. Oh wow. I am so sorry. I really hope I don't lose my hair. I'm two weeks post op. I have extremely long hair. I'm already focusing on getting in my protein and vitamins because I'm very attached to my hair. My doctor said try to get a minimum of 60 grams of protein to avoid hair loss. Hair is made of protein so it makes sense. Sent from my Lenovo YT3-X90F using BariatricPal mobile app
