  2. Hello, I am considering sleeve surgery in Mexico and Im looking for feedback from other individuals whom have traveled for their surgery. I will be traveling home to Canada following Surgery in Tijuana on a direct flight that will take about 3 1/2 hours, 4 days post op. Those who have done it, how tolerable is the flight? Is a wheelchair needed in the terminal? Any special supplies recommended to make the flight more comfortable? If we end up switching flights to having one with a layover, is that ok, or too much? Thanks guys! Sent from my SM-N910W8 using BariatricPal mobile app

  4. Hello everyone! I am set to have surgery August 15th (eeep!!) and although I am incredibly excited, I am also extremely nervous like a lot of you are (were) well. My question is about travel after surgery. I will be traveling immediately after surgery as I am a self pay patient from Canada and will be having the procedure in Mexico, however we also have a family trip booked to Disneyland almost exactly 3 months post-op as well. My question is, do you veterans think this trip is doable physically? I am fully prepared to pack my own shakes, snacks and replacement items to eat at the park, but I am wondering if I can expect to feel physically well enough to tackle the park? I am quite active now, averaging about 10k steps a day on my fit bit, but I have no idea what our bodies are like post-op. Any insight would help. Thanks!! Also, if someone recommends renting a scooter, you become my favorite. Lol.
  5. Wow!! Thats incredible! Did you use the meal plan the clinic gave you? Do you min sharing? My stats are almost identical and I have surgery coming up in a month. I'd love to see success as quickly as you, way to go!
  6. Was this at ALM clinic? Can you share your experiences? Thanks
