  1. You might have had a slippage of your band. Call your docor, ASAP.
  2. Hi Dosh, You seem to be an emotional/impulsive eater like I was. When I was in the prediet stage(before I got banded), I got a little help from a psychologist to help me make the transition to healthier eatin habits and am experiencing the joys of weightloss now with lap band. Consider getting some help if you feel this battle is too hard for you on your own. Remember, there are so many more people just like you on this earth who experience the same joys, the same fears, and the same weaknesses. We all need a little kick in the can, or a jump start every now and then. Use this bad experience as a steppingstone and not as a roadblock. Best of luck. You can do it!
  3. Hi Everyone! I have been reading here on the forum for some time but just registered today as I have good news to share. My band date is 4-3-08. I am SO excited and scared. I am on the preop diet and am having limited success. I really am leary about the post op diet of 6 weeks all liquids too. Do you think I can make it? I am in a major self doubt session here. Thanks for any advice you can give.:crying:
  4. Some insurance companies DO approve it? Have you considered looking into other insurance available through your employer. I have BCBS and I got approved. Best of luck!
