  4. So, since I've been home I've had rather dark looking urine. I drink water throughout the day. I'm not sure how I can drink more. Am I dehydrated or is something else going on? Just asking to make sure I'm not needing to move faster to see my dr. Have an appt Tuesday. Surgery Date: August 9th HW: 235 SW: 220 CW: 208 Goal Weight: 140
  5. Gosh, I haven't had any except that. It's difficult because it's literally the best chicken I've ever had! If you ever make it to Northwest Arkansas it's a stop you should make! Surgery Date: August 9th HW: 235 SW: 220 CW: 210 Goal Weight: 140
  6. My surgery was a week ago and today is the first time I've craved anything. One of my friends opened up a chicken & waffles food truck. He has the most amazing chicken I've ever had. I visited him. I want some of that damn chicken. I can't wait until I can eat solids! But, thankfully, I haven't been hungry or craving anything otherwise! Surgery Date: August 9th HW: 235 SW: 220 CW: 212 Goal Weight: 140
  7. Thank you all!! Surgery Date: August 9th HW: 235 CW: 220 SW: 220 Goal Weight: 140

  10. My surgery is tomorrow. In 7 1/2 hours I have to be at the hospital. I'm freaking out justalittlebit. I'm probably not going to be able to sleep, but I can't take any assistance meds. Bah! Surgery Date: August 9th HW: 235 CW: 221 SW: Goal Weight: 140

  14. I'm August 9th, too!!
  15. I have Anthem. 6 months of appts with the first included. The only extra thing they required after my last appt was a letter of support from my PCP. I got approved last Friday and am scheduled for the 9th.
  16. This morning I got the call for scheduling! I go in for pre-op tomorrow morning and my surgery is scheduled for August 7th! I'm finally starting to get nervous and freak out a bit!
  17. I know this is so late, but I just saw. I'm not in Little Rock, but I'm in Fayetteville! I used to live in LR and drive through here to head back home. I'd be happy to be a buddy if you still would like one!
  18. You made it through! Congrats! One day at a time!
  19. Thank you! I definitely hope so!
  20. Hi!! I'm new on the app, but have had my last appt and been submitted to insurance. I have a tentative RNY surgery date for August 7th. Being able to see everyone's experiences is very helpful! Any buddies for August 7th?
  21. I can't say for sure, but I can tell what happened at mine. I had to do 6 months of diet & nutrition appts to be approved by insurance. At my first appt, I had to do blood work, a stress test, ekg, and ultrasounds of my legs. My next appt I had to do a trans-nasal endoscope. I also had to do a sleep study to check for sleep apnea. The rest of my appts have been talking to nutritionists and dietitians discussing changes I've made and ways to make changes ongoing. Hope that helps! And good luck!
