    1st. 100lbs off

Well I made it! My 1st 100lbs off and still more to go. I cant say that i feel any better and to be truthful I am more scared now the I was and the beginning of my journey. I am so scared to go back to my starting weight and wondering if I will be able to lose another 80lbs. I thought I would start feeling skinner but I dont think my mind has ajusted to weight yet. How long does will it take me to feel skinner in my head? So i guess now that the 1st 100lbs are gone its time to start on the second 100....
  2. Well all I'm back after a long time not posting. I'm not doing very well, I've gain 25 to 30 lbs back and just had to have surgery on my left knee. I'm still down 125lbs but I havent been doing what it takes to make me lose weight. This is my new start and confessions. Right now I dont really have any restriction and I wont have a fill until Jan. 8. I have had a salad in many months, stopped drinking water, havent had chicken in I dont know how long. I havent had any kind of good eatting routine. Today is my new day and I am going to start coming back to this site again for support. I'm proud of my progress I've made in the last 1 1/2 but its time to get the rest of this weight off. I'm now in PT for my surgery and hope to become more active as my knee improves. I'm very happy to be back on this site.

  4. Ok my 1st. year banded is over and I have stared all over like it is the 1st. day post-op. I changed my ticker to show That I am just starting over. I have 50 more lbs to lose and I gained 9 lbs this last month. It seemed like I was most focused at the begining of this journey so I am starting over day 1. Has anyone else tried this? I really need to be as focused and as desperate as I was when I was 386 lbs. I need to get my edge back. eat like day 1, workout like day 1, need like day 1.
  5. I saw that article also but it said that people workout more and than eat more. They figure oh snce i walked that extra mile i can eat that extra whatever. Exercise is great with an diet as long as you dont take in extra cals because you are exercising. stick to the plain ad workout d you have good results.
  6. Your pics look just great, it seem like as your body ot smaller our smile got bigger. Congrats!

  11. Today I had my 1 yr. post-op measurements taken. All on the numbers for the arms, ankles and legs are taken from the rt. Side of my body. Upper arm down 5.5 in, wrist down 1 in, chest down 10.5 in, waist down 14 in, hips down 13.5 in, thigh down 4.0 in, calf down 3.0 in, ankle down 1.5 in. Abdominal down 15.5 in, iliac down 14 in, hips down 13.5 in. BMI dropped 20.1, weight dropped 142 lbs. My fat weight was 169.8# now it is 63.7#. 1 yr. ago I exceeded the weight limit on the treadmill and wasn’t able to be test on it, today I walked the treadmill and now my fitness level is HIGH! That is the best news, I went from not being able to walk to high fitness level in 1 yr, my calculating resting metabolic rate assessment is 2232.56 cal/day. So I think that is 68.5 inches lost not including the left side of the body. I am very happy with these numbers and look forward making it to my final goal in the next year.
  12. You are looking amazing!!! congrats on your progress

  15. Well I made it, my first year is over now and it is time to recommitt myself to the new year. I've been hovering around 150 lbs off total for the last 2 months and yesterday I started my 30 day slim down program. I have another 50 lbs to lose in the next 6 month so it is on! Time to push it! Thank you so much for all the support I have had from you all in the last 14 months. You have made the journey more fun.
  16. Yes i am still riding my bike every day, I went out and bought a wider seat. It feels great now..Thank you
  17. Ok this week was the week that i went out and bought the new bike, now the problems start. I can usually ride my stationary bike for atleast 10 miles. Today i rode my real bike for just 3.5 miles and my butt hurt so much, my hands got numb and It was so much more harder to ride the bike on the road. Is this normal? should it be that much harder?

    Biker hell!

Thank you everyone for the information, I bought a wider bike seat and adjusted it a little high than my first ride and that wasthe ticket, I went on a 5 ile ride today with the new seat and it was great. No butt pain at all, it was nice riding the bike an stoping when my legs were tired rather when my butt couldnt take any more. It was the hardest workout i have every done, riding up the hill was hell and amost all of the ride was on rocky dirty road up and down hill. I was so happy to see flat ground...lol... Thanks again for the help
  19. I had to get a new wedding ring because mine was so big. Being a guy my ring is cheap so ts nothing to just buy a new ring as my body keeps shrinking.

    Breaking Plateau's

Try changing your workout routine, increase it, try eating afew more cals for a few days and than go back to your normal. If you are walking change it up and ride a bike, if you bike try swimming. Your body is getting use to the routine you have now so change it up in some way and your body will respond by losing weight again. Good luck
