  1. Thanks. I had 1 cc put in during surgery and another 7/10 put in at my first visit! I have a 10 cc band too! I'll tell the doc I need more of a fill!
  2. I was banded on 3/19/08 and have lost 20 pounds so far. I received my first fill almost 2 weeks ago. I am still starving and I find it harder and harder not to snack...How many fills does it usually take for the person to fill restricted. I have to force myself to eat the amounts the doctor said I can have, I never have that "full" feeling. Any help????Suggestions??
  3. Hello. I was banded 3/22/08 and have just started the mushies. I am constantly hungary, nothing seems to fill me up. I have been taking in plenty of protein and fluids. I am going to see my doc on Monday, do they usually give a fill this soon after the surgery?? Thanks! I've gone from 201 to 188. Didn't lose one pound this week at all? is this normal?? Thanks for any advice.
  4. I walked up and down the block. I also walked around the house. AT the hospital, we get our patients to ambulate in the hall way, around the room, as much as they can tolerate. I work on a floor that has a lot of post gastric/lap band surgery patients. Walking is best for the extra air.
  5. I just got banded on the 21st, came home the same day. I am also a nurse. The best thing for the gas is walking, which, is really hard cuz you are tired, sore and weak. But it works, I promise!
