My surgeon was very kind with his diet requirements I think. No snacks. Breakfast and lunch have to be protein shakes but dinner is 3oz lean protein and a small portion of non-starchy vegetables. It's only supposed to be 1 week before surgery but I went ahead and started 2 weeks because I'm a glutton for punishment I guess lol. Have y'all found any clear protein that's not god awful yet? I LOVE Syntrax Nectar but it's hella pricey. Isopure tastes like butt so I'm pretty bummed out. I'm SICK of milky protein already.
I'm in SE KY (off 75), I'm definitely down for FaceTime workouts lol I don't know if I can drive all the way to Cinci monthly but my sleeve date is 7/18
My doctor didn't have any pre surgery weight loss requirements (I too am self pay), just 7 days before surgery I switch to 2 meals substituted with protein shakes and one 3oz portion of lean protein for dinner. It's funny how different each doctors requirements are!
My day is coming up quickly. I'm self pay to this process has been relatively un stressful and incredibly fast. Still working on kicking the last of my bad choices with a shocking amount of ease. I have 200lbs to lose so this is going to be a long and difficult journey. Have y'all had any issues so far?
