  1. Just an update. I didn't eat for 7 weeks and was on TPN. My stomach healed and I am doing great! Lost 84 lbs. Since my surgery on 4/4/17. Feeling so much better. Very glad I did this, even with the problems I had. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I love the decision to have sleeve surgery. Wish I would have done it long long ago. Have lost 75 lbs. In 6 months and am really enjoying life Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Oh no! Was it on left side? How many times do you have to go to ER before they remove It? Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Have you tried Premier Protein from Costco? Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

  7. I think I am healed. Going to doc tomorrow hopefully getting PIC line removed Thursday. How are you doing?
  8. So glad you healed! Would love to see the news clip. Can you send a link when it airs? I see my doc tomorrow. Hoping my pic line can be removed Thursday. All is going well for past 3 weeks. Eating very carefully.
  9. 18 years ago, my 5 year old had a severe constipation problem. We went to 3 Gastroenterologists, including Children's hospital. Finally, it was the Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Kaiser that curred it. He just kept saying, "more Miralax" she was up to 4 large capfulls per day. It curred her! It is the only thing your body will not absorb and it is harmless. This stuff is amazing. Keep it going, it will work, just increase it till it does is what I recommend. Mix with any liquid. Good luck!
  10. More Miralax! 3-4 times per day. It is very safe Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Original stitch failed. I had a 14 mm abcess. They call it an abcess but it is a leak. What happened after the repair stitch failed? Did they put you on no food, no drink then? Basically a TPN though a PIC line?
  12. This is Goggyween, I am not sure if you are asking me about the repair stitch or not. It was not me who had a repair stitch done. I was on TPN, no food, no water for 6 weeks. Then liquids only for 2 weeks, now slowly starting on soft foods.
  13. Thank you so much. So far so good. Today had baked potato, no skin, oatmeal and yogurt. Today is better than yesterday, so hope it still goes well. Keep in touch all
  14. I just started eating soft foods today. Was on TPN for 7 weeks. I am praying that my leak is healed. I should know within the next 2 weeks. Have been out of work pretty much since my surgery date of 4/4/17. Have lost 60 lbs. But still have my pickline. If this doesn't work, I really just want a bypass instead of a stent. I hear they are so painful. My doc said they need to wait like 8 months before turning a sleeve into a bypass. He said if they did it now, "It would be a warzone". So I am praying, praying, praying for all of us with complications. Keep us posted everyone, it really helps to see all the posts.
  15. Oh that sucks, what, do they want you to gain weight back before they approve? Do you have anymore to lose? Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Hi Cheese, keep us posted. You will do fine. God bless!
  17. Thanks for Sharing Steve. Yes, it is tricky figuring out portion sizes. I think best thing to do is to just eat really slow. I have another question. Does anyone know how much time between sleeve and revision to RNY surgery that is required?
  18. Have you Tried chocolate Premier Protein from Costco or Sam's Club? It is wonderful especially with crushed ice and fruit blended in Nutribullet Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Hi Steve, thanks for sharing. Glad you are doing well and hope no further issues. Take care and keep us posted
  20. That is fantastic! So you had a blockage after VSG? Then all they did was remove the foot of intestine? Did you have adhesions which led to the blockage? That is awesome you are doing well!
  21. Excuse me for asking a question. I just never pureed any of my food. I did a lot of smoothies. And of course, we all do a lot of research. No need to get nasty
