Hi! I am now 6 days postop and just called my doctor with the same green, runny yet sticky stools. She said she has noticed it a lot with the new vitamins they are giving with iron. I am taking Batriatric Advantage Ultra Multi With Iron. She is sending me to the lab for blood work just to make sure my numbers are okay.

No, nothing. If I went through my insurance I might have had to, but since I was self pay there were no weight loss requirements. I am actually going on vacation a week before my procedure and she told me to enjoy!

Nope, none, other than all of my preop requirements, i.e., psych, cardio...

I'm scheduled for 7/20. Have my cardiac eval and egd scheduled for this week! Time is flying by. My surgeon isn't requiring a preop diet, just nothing after midnight the night before, AND I'm an outpatient surgery. Looking for anyone with same sort of scenario.

They said they would do the leak test before I go home. They did say they would monitor me and if they didn't feel I was ready they would keep me. Still a little scary.

Hi! I am scheduled to undergo outpatient gastric sleeve on 7/20/17. I have been a yo-yoer for as long as I can remember. I'm done. I'm ready to be healthy! I am a little worried about going home same day. Does anyone have any experience with this?
